James Budde appears to have found his event. After a very limited build up, James would have been delighted to break 3 hours in the Belfast Marathon on the May Day Holiday. Running for Marie Curie Cancer Care, he did rather better than that, finishing 25th on 2:52.34 hrs. Other North Down runners in the provisional early results list include Kate McNeill iin 3:42.18 and Rachel Hardy in 3:48.05hrs.. Pat O”Driscollran 4:57.48 hrs..
