Ben Reynolds was 4th out of 22 athletes at the EIS in Sheffield over the weekend in the England Athletics U20 Indoor Heptathlon Championship with a personal best score of 5067 points, also having indoor pbs at long jump and 60m hurdles. Both were club indoor records together with the total score. Ben opened the first day with 6th position in the 60m with 7.43 secs (736 points) and moved to 5th after posting 6.72m for long jump (748 points) followed by 11.60m for 6Kg shot and 4.05m for pole vault (582 and 631 points), closing the day in 5th with 2697 points. On Sunday he moved to 4th after running 8.22 secs (927 points) for the 60m hurdles and then high jumped 1.98m (785 points), finishing with 3 min 00.60 sec in the 1000m (785 points) for 4th overall.The competition was won by long time adversary David Guest of Wales who brke the British record with 5372 points.
