Ben Reynolds made an impressive international debut over the weekend competing for GB in a multi event match in Paris against France and Spain which GB won. Ben added 50 points to his pb and broke the 5000 barrier with 5029. To put it into some kind of perspective, on Power of Ten Dean Macey was then 12th, now 14th, on the all time Under 20 list with 5026 points. Ben opened on Saturday with pbs of 7.53 sec and 6.54m in 60m and shot and was close in shot and high jump with 11.91m and 1.98m. On Sunday he opened with a pb of 8.48 sec for 60m hurdles and had a big pb at pole vault with 4.30m and closed with a slightly disappointing 1000m in 2:59.78 min. Ben was 2nd GB scorer and 4th overall.
