Ben in form for GB

Ben Reynolds substantially added to his indoor U20 heptathlon pb at the weekend when he scored 5320 points in Cardiff competing for GB in a Junior International against France and Spain. Along the way he also had an overall pb at pole vault, indoor pb”s at 60m and 1000m and a seasons best at shot (U20 weight). Club indoor U20 records he picked up were for heptathlon, pole vault, shot and 1000m.  Ben opened the first day in the 60m with 7.24 secs (799  points) and after posting 6.81m for long jump (769 points) followed by 12.56m for 6Kg shot and 4.40m for pole vault (640 and 731 points), closed the day with 2939 points. On Sunday he ran  8.03 secs (974 points) for the 60m hurdles and then high jumped 1.84m (661 points), finishing with 2  min 51.90 sec in the 1000m (746 points) for a 5320 point score.

Ben was the 3rd scorer in the GB team, going to 3rd in the U20 rankings as the four GB performances from the match head the rankings.
