Mark Patterson placed 2nd U20 in a useful season opener time of 1:52.01 at the BMC PB Classic meet at Street, Somerset on Monday. On the same day at Birmingham University, at another BMC meet, Lauren Scott set a 1500 pb time of 4:53.10. On Wednesday Robin Brown ran a pb of 8:45.03 for 3000m at the Watford Open Meet.
