As temperatures in Western Australia continue to hover around 40 Celsius, Brendan McConville continued to warm up, so to speak. Competing at Perry Lakes he did 15.20 (he was the only Senior) for 110m hurdles and 4.55m for pole vault. The hurdles is his best time for a season”s opener and the vault continues to progress bearing in mind he is using stadium poles. as his own will go direct to Melbourne (possibly a mistake).
