British & Irish Juniors on Hills

[Not a valid template]Along with the rest of the Northern Ireland runners, the North Down contingent on the Northern Ireland team found it hard going in the British and Irish Junior Hill Running Inernational. This year it was close to home at a very windy Slieve Foye near Carlingford just over the border. In the U16 girls race Jessica Craig was 18th in 28.45 and Lauren Scott 21st in 32.28 with the team 5th. Kerry Iveston was 6th in the U18 girls race in 37.33, a race in which only England finished a scoring team. The Patterson twins ran in the U14 individual race with Mark 14th in 16.27 and Michael 15th in 16.51. Best Northern Ireland result was Rickey Graham, 2nd in the open race with Jonathan McCloy 3rd.
