The British University XC champs took place today (Sat 5th Feb) in Senneley"s Park Birmingham – offering up tough hilly courses in gale force conditions. Robin Brown"s Cambridge Uni team just made it there in time for his race but Robin still managed a solid 26th (of 257) in the A race and help Cambs Uni to a fine team 4th ahead of Loughboro" in 5th. Lauren Scott – running for Birmingham Uni – placed better in the 318 strong womens race than 2010 for 59th over 7.5k. Jordan Stokes ran in the 284 strong mens B race – for St Mary"s Uni – to place 89th over the 8k+ course. Both Lauren & Jordan revert to indoors in their next races.
