Four North Down Athletes competed in Sheffield at the BUSA indoor championships last weekend with Mike Dyer achieving probably the best performance of "the bunch" to place 2nd in the 800m B final in 1:53.66 after a 1:55.37 semi and 1:59 1st round.
Tom Reynolds was perhaps the busiest ND man with 9th in both the pole vault (3:90) and triple jump (12:87) though he was bound to have tired legs from a solid over-distance 800m in 2:08.32. Brother Luke ran a swift 8:45 in his 60m hurdle heat, but had to settle for 8th in the final (8.58). Richard Lockhart throwing the shot 10.89m for 10th in his qualifying pool.
