In sticky conditions on the undulating Carrick course, Norman Lellyett was 1st O55 in 40.09 and Fred Murdoch 1st O60 in 43.36. Marcus McAuley ran 40.22. The race was won by Paul Rowan from Gary McClernon.
Earlier this week on Wednesday, Hilary Kernaghan was the only North Down runner in the Ecos 5 mile road race in Ballymena, finishing 102nd in 35.26 (9th woman,4th vet). click
