Francis Marsh and Robin Brown teamed up in the Castlewellan Christmas Cracker and with third in 63:46 min recorded the best club result since the Cracker moved from Comber. Two places back, Simon Seaton with North Belfast"s Kevin Shields were 5th in 67:31 min. Stephanie Hambling and Marcus McAuley were fourth Mixed Pair in 80:04 min. The race is contested by pairs of runners over a hilly 17Km route through the Forest Park with stretches on the road. Ninety pairs finished this year with eight pairs containing North Down runners.
