There were 8 North Down runners among a record-equalling 93 finishers at Victoria Park in Saturday’s ParkRun with Chris Bryan and Andrea Thompson taking the honours. Both had pbs since joining the club with Chris 2nd overall in 16:47 to Justin Maxwell of Larne and Andrea 1st lady in 22:23 min. Steve Wise ran a pb of 19:55, David Montgomery ran 23:00 in his first appearance, Marie Devine ran 24:59, Kathy Graham had a pb of 25:06, Alison Wise had 25:24 and another pb went to Emily Johnston with 26:55. At the Waterworks, Sarah Benton ran 22:51 in her 20th ParkRun. Lauren Scott, now working in Birmingham ran 17:26 min in her local ParkRun, a time that would have been a club record if she had again not taken her barcode.
