The Annual Club Dinner was held at Carnalea Golf Club on Monday evening. Again all sections of the club were represented inluding the worthy and the glamorous. Organisers, David Seaton and Brian Smith, welcomed everyone to Carnalea and stated how pleased thet were with the attendance of 51 
members. More than £250 for leukaemia research was raised from a ballot in which a very generous set of prizes, were donated by club member Michael Jenkins, Mr Up and Running. . A very enjoyable time was had and thanks are due to David, Brian and Michael in particular as well as all the Golf Club staff.
Attendees were reminded about the Hawtin Shield Trail Race scheduled to take place this Saturday for a lap of Crawfordsburn Park. All members are reminded to bring a small gift and are requested to arrive before 10.30 a.m. in order that the handicap can be properly and fairly structured.
