Conor McGrattan was the club representative at the first day of the Combined Events Championships at a showery Antrim which for the younger age groups featured boys events. Conor was 2nd in the 1993 boys pentathlon with 14.94 sec for 80m hurdles, 9.81m for shot, 1.42m and 4.90m for high and long jumps, finishing with 2:23 min for 800m and a total of 1996 points. In the equivalent girls 1993 pentathlon on Sunday Kerrie Craig was 3rd most of the day but dropped to 4th on the final 800m event. Kerrie”s results were 14.21 sec (+2.3) at 75m hurdles, 6.24m at shot, 1.51m at high jump, 4.23m at long jump and 3:00.9 min at soom for a 4th place finish with 2092 points. On the Saturday the meeting was combined with British Milers Club races at 1500m in which club results are detailed below.
