[Not a valid template]Julie Balmer was first lady in a half marathon for the 2nd time in a week when she won the Cookstown race on Sunday in 85:39 min. The result should guarantee her a win in the F35 category in the ChampionChip/Up and Running Half Marathon Series, removing any need for a September race. Dennis Scott did his prospects of a prize in the Mens Open category with 5th overall in 79:29and 2nd place in the Open category. Lynne Kerr also had a category win at Cookstown in the F50’s with 105:15 min. Pat O’Driscoll was the 4th North Down runner.
