Course specialist Paul Pollock was again the winner of the club-promoted Crawfordsburn Trail Race on Wednesday evening in16:22 min with his Abbey AC clubmate Owen Carleton 2nd in 17:11 min and Paul Blaney 3rd. In-form Ruth Magill of Lagan Valley won the ladies race in 21:26 min with Heather McClarnon of Lisburn 2nd in 21:37 min and Stephanie Hambling 3rd. Simon Seaton in 5th collected 3rd overall by virtue of two veterans above him taking the more valuable vet prizes. By the same token Stephanie collected 1st F40 rather than 3rd overall with Debbie Matchett 2nd F40 and Jill Aicken 1st F35. The youngsters Glen Willis, Abbey Taylor and Sam McKibbin had excellent runs.
