3 of North Down AC’s athletes took on the Dundalk 10k on 19th April. Valerie McDonough was first to finish in 43:13 while Sarah Gibson 44:19 and Paula Simpson 49:40 made their second journey south of the border in 4 days to run 10k after their disappointingly shortened race at Phoenix Park last Sunday. Both ran more conservatively than their usual 10k pace to save a little energy for their respective marathons in London and Vienna at the weekend.
