Robin Brown finished a very respectable 75th (out of 1650) in the tough English National XC champs on Saturday at Parliament Hill, North London. Representing Thames Hare & Hounds (reputed oldest running club in the world!), Robin clocked 39:13 for the undulating 12k XC course: the race won by Keith Gerrard in 35:56. In Sunday’s Barcelona Half marathon, Chris Bryan stuck to the plan of 6 minute miling and recorded a solid 78:23 for 151st out of a field of 10,000 odd.
