John Carlisle & Francis Marsh finished 23rd (28:39) and 26th (28:53) respectively in the Surrey League xc Div 1 match at Wimbledon Common on Saturday 8th Nov. They were the final (9th & 10th) scorers for Herne Hill Harriers in the 200 strong field to help keep the deficit on league leaders Thames Hare & Hounds to just 7 points. On Sunday 9th Nov, Jessica Craig continued her good winter in the North East with 3rd place (20:47) in Heaton Harriers" combined U20/U17 Town Moor Memorial Road Race (approx 5k). Heading further South, Robin Brown chopped 2mins 20secs off his January 08 Fen Ditton xc course time to place 4th (28:30) in the Cambridge Colleges league race there (5m+) – in representing Jesus College. Meanwhile – in the West Country – Kerry Iveston was competeing in a highly competive 40 strong Gwent League U23 xc race in Bath where she finished 20th in 23:17.
