Several NDAC athletes turned out on Saturday for the first Jumps and Throws Meeting at Mary Peters Track. Performances indicated that winter training has gone well and given the low-key nature of the events, there should be lots more to come. Eva Massey opened her season with 15.85m for the shot, Hannah Lewis jumped 5.59m for 2nd overall while Alison Lavery and Kerrie Craig jumped 1.55m and 1.50m respectively. With the men, decathletes Tom Reynolds and Peter Glass had a busy afternoon. Tom won the long jump with 6.45m, was 2nd with two pb"s at shot and javelin with 12.11m and 45.23m and was 4th at high jump. Peter won the javelin with 49.69m, was 3rd at high jump and shot with a shot pb of 11.62m. Jason Blanc and Matt Heaney both did long jump..
