The Dub Runners hosted trail race took place on Friday evening, starting and finishing on the QUB playing fields and taking in forest trails, the Lagan towpath and the area of the ancient Giants Ring. 4 of our athletes enjoyed the testing run with Andrew Muir the first of them to finish in 45:18, 55th place. Helen Byers was next in and our only female entrant in 81st recording 48:08. Making a welcome return to racing was Terry Eakin next, who notched up an age category win on the way to finishing in 49:28 and Gavin McDonnell covered the circuit in 58:12.
