Our girl sprinters were in great form at the Northern Ireland and Ulster Age Group Indoor Championships at the Odyssey Arena where there were massive fields in most events. At U14 level, Kiki Malomo Paris won the 60m in 8.52secs as well as long jump with 4.37m while Kathryn Colwell was 4th at 200m and 5th at 60m. At U15, Katie Hewitt was 3rd at long jump and 5th at 60m while Rachel Scott and Hannah Lewis were 5th and 7th at 200m. Kim Shaw was tops at U16 winning the 200m in 27.63 and 3rd at 60m in 8.50. while Amy Foster took 60m in 8.12 and 200m in 27.18 in the U17?s which were incorporated in the senior events.
Peter Wickens was the pick of the boys winning theU15 boys shot by a massive margin with 13.54m.
