The Irish Indoor Championships were held at the AIT indoor arena in Athlone over the weekend 28th February.
Ben Reynolds won the 60M hurdles in 7:73, which is frustratingly short of the world indoor qualifying time of 7:72. Tom Reynolds also ran in the 60M H final, narrowly missing a medal in 4th, 8:43. Andrew Mellon continued his good form with a 2nd place in the 400M, again lowering the pb with 47:59. Long may it continue!
Mark Patterson dominated in the 800M heats with a win in his heat of 1:54:77, but unfortunately slowed in the final with 1:55.6. Rachel Gibson and Jessica Craig represented us in the 1500M with 4:37.03 and 4:39:56 the finishing times.
Returning from her studies Sarah Connolly had a run out in the 60M hurdles finishing in 9:05.
