The Half Marathon Series in 2010, sponsored by EAGA HEAT, ChampionChip Ireland and Up & Running, comprised races from March To September with substantial prizes awarded in all categories to the series winners. At the awards presentation on Wednesday, North Down AC athletes came away with a large slice of those awards. Julie Balmer was first female open, Roberta Dornan first F35, Stephanie Hambling first F40 and Francis Marsh first M40. In addition Pat O’Driscoll received a prize as one of the small number who completed all seven half marathons. Not to mention the 3 marathons and 4 ten milers.
