Hannah Lewis competed in the 200m and long jump at the England Athletics U20 Championship held in the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham on Sunday. At 11.05 am she ran a new indoor pb of 24.88s to win her heat and progress to the final at 4.15pm, were she ran 25.08s for fifth place. In between the 200m heat and final, Hannah claimed a silver medal in the long jump with a best of 5.64m. She jumped consistently well, improving each round, with her best jump the last.In the Northern Ireland and Ulster Age Group Championships (plus open events) at Jordanstown, Hannah”s training partner Laura McKeown had a long jump pb of 5.33m with an easy win in the 1991 event. Ben Reynolds warmed up for his International with 7.7 secs and 11.59m in the 1990 60m and shot. In open events Katie Hewitt had a shot pb with 8.15m and Sam Hummel ran 7.9 sec for 60m.
