It was left to Hannah Lewis, representing the University of Bath to wrap up the 2009-2010 indoor season at the British Universities Championships at Sheffield at the week end. On Saturday Hannah won her 60m heat in 7.92 sec and was 3rd in the semi final with a seasons best of 7.84 sec, narrowly missing qualification. On Sunday in her favoured long jump event she finished 3rd with 5.79m, an indoor pb and club indoor record, taking her to the top of the Northern Ireland rankings. It was good to see Hannah back on the podium after her annus horribilis of 2009 when her final year as a junior was wiped out by illness
