Taking time off from exams, Hannah Lewis made her first appearance of the indoor season on Wednesday afternoon at the National Indoor Arena. Hannah won both 60m and long jump in the Inter Varsity Match, competing for Bath University in the annual match against Loughborough, Brunel, Birmingham and University of Wales , Cardiff. At 60m, she had an impressive pb of 7.70 sec and in the long jump she went 5.82m. In the mens’ events at the same meeting Phil Browne, also competing for Bath had seasons bests with 6.15m for long jump and 7.39 secs for 60m.
