A jumps-only meeting was held at Jordanstown High Performance Centre on Wednesday evening with long, high and triple jumps on the programme. The two club athletes present were Oliver Wakefield and Olivia Cumming, both in the LJ and probably the youngest. Oliver was initially disappointed not to jump over 6 metres but in reality his 5.73m was highly encouraging being out of season on an unfamiliar surface and with no break from training. Probably most pleasing was that he was on the board in 3 of his 4 jumps. Olivia was if anything even more encouraging as al 4 of her jumps were on the board and her jump of 4.67m was very close to her 4.73m pb.
