[Not a valid template]The Integrated Schools Cross Country Championships were held successfully over the County Down District Championship Course in Delamont Park and produced good quality racing with good numbers in the younger age groups especially. Nicola Simpson (Lagan College) was a comfortable winner of the Senior Girls race. Going off immediately as she did earlier in the year in the Schools Districts, she was never threatened and was well clear.
Brian Barron (Strangford) was another club runner involved, this time in the Intermediate Boys race. Brian ran well and was in 6th place throughout but suffered on the final hill of the 3rd lap and he finished a still respectAble 10th.
