The Seeley Cup 10K incorporating the NI Championships and Veteran Age Group Championships was held at Ormeau Park in sunny and dry conditions if windy. Paddy Hamilton (Annadale) retained the individual title, Jill Shannon won the womens individual and Willowfield narrowly retained the team title. North Down finished 20 runners with Nick Arkenspaar first club man home in 36:23 min and Lynne Kerr first woman in 42:45 min. In the vets David Seaton, Brian Smith, Norman Lellyett and Fred Murdoch were 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th M60, Hugh Young was 2nd M65, Lynne Kerr and Debbie Matchett were 3rd and 5th F40 and Tony Wall and John Quiery were 7th M45 and M50.
A special mention is due to Kerry McCall who ran 44:23 on her first time out in a race.
