Tom Reynolds was 3rd in the pole vault with 4.40m when the Irish Senior Indoor Championships were held at the Odyssey Arena over the weekend and although Tom was the only medallist there were plenty of good performances. Niall Robinson twice broke his indoor 1500m pb and was the leading qualifier in the heats. Jordan Stokes had one goal – to finish the 800m inside 2 minutes, and a well-paced race saw him do just that with an outright pb of 1:59.47 min. At the same event John Saulters had an indoor pb and at 3000m Francis Marsh broke his own club vets indoor record. There were solid performances at shot from Jeremy Harper with 13.59m and from Kathy Hetherington and Jodie Murphy with 9.23 and 8.99m for 4th and 6th. Kenny Elliott was the only sprinter out with 23.47 sec in the 200m.
