A huge haul of medals, 10 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze and definitely a good day for hurdlers and throwers. Luke Reynolds overcame an awful start to win the Senior 110m hurdles and had 3rd at pole vault. Peter Glass won Intermediate 100m hurdles and javelin. Jeremy Harper had a double in Senior shot and discus as did David Keys in Junior hammer and discus, Aaron Stirling won hammer with 3rd in discus, Scott McCauley won the triple and there were silvers for Jordan Neil and Mark Atkinson. Stacey Mullan, Amy Foster and Kim Shaw medalled for the girls.

For the girls, Stacey Mullan won the Senior hurdles, sanity having prevailed when she was reinstated for the Irish Schools. Amy Foster had a silver and a bronze while Kim Shaw had a bronze.

In other events Richard Lockhart was 6th in shot with 11.35m and 5th in hammer with another new pb of 40.35m. Ben Worthington was 5th in shot with11.72m and Joe Kingsberry 7th in shot with 10.88m and 6th in hammer with 38.74m. As well as 3rd in the 200m, Kim Shaw was 8th in 100m in 13.24 and Kiki Malomo-Paris was 5th in 100m with 13.03. Caroline Oakes was 5th in javelin with 28.87m and 8th in discus with 24.39m. Plus Bangor Grammar Seniors won a team trophy.
