It was the girls who spared North Down blushes this weekend at Santry in the AAI Senior Championships as none of the club male athletes started. There was yet another Irish title for Eva Massey who won the shot easily with 13.59m. Two athletes who extended their own club records were Lauren Scott who ran 2:12.46 min for 800m and Sarah Semeraro who was 2nd in the pole vault with 3.80m. Laura Loughlin triple jumped 10.69m for 4th and Hannah Lewis who long jumped 5.56m. Conditions were poor on both days with Saturday wet and blustery and a strong headwind on Sunday.Irish Senior Championships
