On Friday 15th and Saturday 16th April Morton Stadium Santry hosted the Irish Universities championships.
Adam McCombe and Andrew Mellon contested the 400M final with Adam winning it in a pb and Ulster University record time of 47:84. Andrew was 2nd, a mere 0.01 secs behind his club colleague. Andrew then followed up his silver medal with a gold as part of the winning QUB 4 x 100M relay team.
Kathy Hetherington, competing for Queens University, was also in the medals winning a bronze in the discus.
