On Saturday the grounds of Shane Castle hosted the 4th annual Jengana 10k road race. Having completed the race on each of the previous years including winning the race last year it was inevitable that Dennis Scott would participate this time around. And he made a good job of it again making the podium with a 3rd place finish, recording 35:15. Race walker Rebecca Collins also made an appearance this year and finished in a pb of 47:26.
Also on Saturday Downpatrick was the venue for the annual 15k and 7k races around undulating rural scenery. Frankie Rea was our sole participant and finished in an impressive 16th spot with a time of 1:06:26.
