Jeremy Harper took discus silver at this weekend’s British University Sports Association championships in Birmingham with another pb and club record of 46.54m –in competing for the University of Ulster. Having spent much of 2005 rehabilitating after surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, it looks as if 2006 is going to see Jeremy make a big progression towards 50 metres.
At the same meet Michael Dyer – running for Loughborough – narrowly missed making the 800m final after winning his heat in 1.57.74 and then placing 3rd in his (1 of 3) semi with a 1.55.25 (winner 1.54.8) after being cut-up slightly with 100m to go.,
