Jeremy Harper hit triple gold in this weekend’s Irish University Championships while breaking his club record in the discus with 45.70m and also in the shot with 13.39m. His third win was a 9.21m throw in the 16kg weight for distance. Jeremy also took 3rd in the Javelin with 45.48m.
John Saulters ran through his tiredness and the strong home straight headwind to take bronze in the 400m in 50.68 (50.71ht) before anchoring Queens in the 4×400. Kenny Elliot put his shins splints on hold to bravely take 6th in the 200 in 23.43 (23.06ht). Neil Dougan threw discus 24.20 (5th), Javelin 40.85 (4th) and hammer 28.82m(4th) . Francis Marsh placed 7th in the 1500m with 4.08.8.
