Jessica Craig smashed the North Down AC women’s marathon record with a superb performance at the Seville Marathon on 19th February, crossing the line in 2:38:38. Jessica’s most recent Spanish outing was only 4 weeks ago when she set her half marathon PB in Santa Pola. The Seville Marathon route, renowned as one of the flattest and fastest in Europe, is well known for attracting elite athletes looking for quick times so her finishing position of 34th woman is all the more impressive and Jessica’s time places her 6th in the all time best marathon performances by Northern Irish women.
