Jodie Murphy competed at Santry on Saturday in the Irish Schools Combined Events Championships and was 3rd in the Senior Girls Pentathlon with a score of 2450 points. Jodie”s results were high jump 1.49m (610 points); 100m hurdle 16.6 sec (615 pts); shot 7.94m (395 pts); long jump 4.74m (490 pts); 800m 3:02.8 min (340 pts). Third place should see her safely into the Irish team in the Schools Combined Events International which will be held indoors in Glasgow on 5th December.
