Jordan Neil took bronze in the Southland Conference indoor mile in Houston, Texas on Saturday – clocking 4:16.05 after a slow first 800m of 2:14. Not far behind in 5th was team mate Stephen Scullion (4:18.52). The previous day Jordan won his heat in 4:22, after a slow start also before going on to clock an unofficial 3:05 on the 1200m leg of the medlay relay. Jordan was not too happy with his tactics in the final where he felt he just wasn’t close enough to the front runners (the race was eventually won in 4:14).
