Never mind club records, Jordan Neil cracked the 8min barrier for 3k with a 7:59.11 clocking for 4th place at the Notre Dame Uni – Alex Wilson invitational. Jordan – running for East Carolina Uni – opted out of last weekends Conference 3k (due 2hrs after his mile race) to save himself for this expected fast paced race – and it paid off!…Jordan was way off the lead bunch for virtually the entire race, but powered round the last 400m to get right up in the mix by the finish line.
