An open meeting on Saturday at the High Performance Centre at Jordanstown provided useful indoor practice for the Irish Championships this weekend in the Odyssey. Kathy Hetherington extended her indoor pb to 9.63m in the shot while in the equivalent mens event Jeremy Harper putted 13.16m. Alex Catherwood and Rebekah Rutherford posted 1.50m and 1.30m respectively at high jump while Gareth Lyness long jumped 5.09m and ran 8.42 and 8.24sec for 60m. Kenny Elliott had the best track results with 7.36 and 7.34 sec at 60m.
