[Not a valid template]With the postponement of the Larne half marathon and having missed the Omagh event due to a pre-booked holiday, Julie Balmer returned to a badly-disrupted racing schedule. No problem with her fitness though as she proved on Sunday with an emphatic win in the ladies race of the Decathlon Half Marathon in 1:24:54. Just ahead of Julie in 14th Nick Arkensparr also returned to action with 1:24:31. New Ladies Captain Sarah Benton was 6th lady and 2nd F40, equalling her pb, while Pat O’Driscoll in his 50th half marathon was 1st M65. The Decathlon 10K was run simultaneously over the first lap of the course and Gordon Wilkinson in 42:45 was 34th and 1st M45. Nikki Heywood in 45:11 was 5th and 3rd FO. Trevor Patterson, Helen Irvine and Kathy Graham also competed in the 10K.
