Andrea Green ventured to Swinford, County Mayo to take part in the ¾ marathon as final preparations for the Berlin marathon. Andrea completed the race in 3:32:09.

Also plying his trade on the West coast of Ireland was Sean Nickell who unsurprisingly was undertaking the 120 mile Kerry Way Ultra. Sean had to navigate multi terrains as he covered ground around Glencar, Rossbeigh and Waterville and on top of that the weather played havoc with frequent heavy rain. As dusk settled on day 2 Sean crossed the finish line at Killarney Racecourse.
