Jordan Neill was again first club athlete home with 13th in 34.11. James Budde was 10 seconds back in 16th. Jordan was the first Under 20 although there appeared to be no such category in the results. Norman Lellyett and Fred Murdockhwere 1st and 2nd Over 60. There were just less than 400 finishers, about the same as a year ago, despite the atrocious conditions – wet, windy and freezing cold.
The race was won by Kenyan Wilf Taragon in 29.39, a second ahead of fellow countryman Simon Torui with a third Kenyan, Zak Kihara third. The Willowfield trio of Paul Rowan, Deane Fisher and Alan McCullough were next.
