On a soggy day in the Nations capital three very reasonable runs were hacked out by the clubs representatives, Ian Atkinson, Simon Cummings and Hilary Kernaghan. Whilst never quite threatening the leaders we did see some of them as they passed 35 km and we passed 21km !! The crowds and the organisation were a credit to all who were involved and three very happy North Down runners were the result. Ian finished in 3.02.08 1377th, Hilary in 3.22.29 3564th and Simon in 3.27.03 4218th, this was a new pb for Simon beating his previous best by 10 mins. There were 32650 finishers recorded. Bring on Belfast where the club will be represented by four relay teams, including the over 60s crumblies and Marcus McAuley, Kris McKee and Ian on the full slog.
