The Loughinisland 5mile road race (marginally over-distance at 5.05 miles) was held on Wednesday evening with two club runners involved. Relevant race categories were O45 and O55 with Gerry Coy 10th overall in 32:34 min and 2nd M45. Pat O’Driscoll was 56th in 45:33 and 5th O55. Pat reports that it was rainy and hilly but the food was great. The race winner in 26:50 was Brendan Teer of East Down who guests for us in the National League and first woman was Elaine Burch of Lagan Valley.
