At the AAA’s U23/U20 Champs in Bedford at the weekend, Mark Patterson had an easy 2nd in the heats in 1:55.64 min to qualify for the final of the U20 800m, where despite losing some ground in an early scuffle he ran well to finish 6th in 1.51.79 min. Hannah Lewis finished a credible 4th in the U23 long jump with 5.73 metres. On a different surface Terry Eakin was also across the water and was 2nd M60 in the Surrey Road Championship, running 10K in 37:45 min.
