Mark Patterson, who has been injured for five months with right achilles tendinopathy, is hopefully on the way back. He entered a race mid week in the Grand Prix Meeting at Trafford and won the race with a time of 1.54.81. He hopes to compete in a couple of races in August. Not so good news for his long term sparring parther Niall Robinson who has been forced to stand down for the remainder of the track season, also woth achilles problems.
