Mark Patterson arrived at Dublin airport this morning with the rest of the Irish team after competing in the IAAF World Junior Athletics Championships in Moncton, Canada. The 26 hour journey home was the end of an eventful trip which saw Mark progress to the semi-finals of the 800m, where he was disqualified for running on the line on the first bend. The semi was a physical race in parts, which saw 2 other athletes disqualified.
